Service Description

Our voice is a muscle that we have to train if we want to express ourselves with confidence and clarity. This spoken word circle is a chance to explore your self-expression through words and sound. Each week will consist of a writing prompt, vocal warm up exercises, games to get you comfortable speaking in front of an audience, and a chance to share your writings out loud. The circle is led by our Stage owner, Jehan Izhar who is a TEDx speaker and award winning playwright. Jehan has been writing spoken word poetry for almost 20 years and is an experienced circus show host. Come share your story and learn to empower your voice! *this is best taken as a 4 week series as each week you will be given a writing prompt and can then share your words with the group the following week
